Busy, busy, busy
Well now that fall is here we have have been crazy busy. I started preschool, football is in full swing, mom is studying, and I'm not sure what Jude is doing. Needless to say we have been on the run. Mom even said things are going to get crazier as the rest of the year goes by. She is already talking about Christmas!!! I just hope I can take Karate soon.--Luke
I don't know why Luke thinks I'm not busy. I have lots of things to do. What he doesn't know is that while he is in preschool, mom and I go to all sorts of parks, and run all kinds of crazy errands. And I don't know if Karate is a good idea or not.--Jude

Pool days...
Well summer is about to come to an end, so we are told. But I finally have become brave enough to jump into the big pool with out any help. I even learned how to do this thing called a cannon ball. I hope we don't have to wait until next summer to swim again.--Luke Well I know Luke likes the pool, but I had really rather go to the park, and now that Luke is in school I hope to be going there more with mom all by myself---Jude

Luke's first day of preschool!!
Yesterday was my first day at Apex Baptist Preschool. I was really excited about it until we got there and then it didn't seem like a good idea anymore. Mom told me it would be fine, but I was looking at some other kid crying alot and I wasn't so sure mom knew what she was talking about. After she left, we did arts and crafts and had playtime, so it wasn't so bad after all. My new pictures are hanging on the fridge and I am ready to go again.--Luke

Jude's Birthday party
/
My first birthday party was great. I got all kinds of attention. I even got Chick-fil-a for lunch, which is my favorite, and I tasted Luke's sweet tea (just don't tell him that). I also got cake, but I really don't know why everyone wanted to stare at me while I had mine. I was so full off of chicken nuggets that I didn't even want my cake. All of the action make me tired and I had to recharge with a nap before I could open my gifts. I got alot of good loot, that I can't wait to play with. If Luke is nice to me, I might even share with him. --Jude

Well we have finally started playing together. I have found that Jude and I do have similar interests. Although I don't always like to share what I am playing with and Jude never likes it when I take something from him. Mom keeps saying "play nice," and something tells me that we are going to be hearing alot of that in the future.

Getting so big..
I am getting really good at this pulling up stuff. I can cruise all over, but I'm not sure about letting go. That seems a little too challenging right now. I think with a little more practice though I will be running in no time. Look out Luke.--Jude

4th of July Beach trip
Here are some of our pics from our 4th of July Beach trip. I had to include one of my favorite moments was with my Aunt Tay. She took me for a spin in her bug convertable. I thought I was a real cool dude riding in the back with the top down. I think Jude was jealous, but I told him maybe he could go next year.--Luke
Well I once again, had a great time eating all of that wonderful sand. It is so good for the sore gums. I loved hanging out on the beach and wathcing all of the people and the ocean. One of my favorite activities though is picking up sea shells. I found all kinds and my specialty was finding the really small ones. Mom always seemed to take those away for her collection. I told her that wasn't fair, but she insisted that I needed to stick to the larger ones.--Jude

My first beach trip
I just got back from my first beach trip ever, and boy was it fun. There was all of this gritty stuff called sand, that was excellant to eat and play in. It stuck to everything and it was great for my gums. I don't think my mom was crazy about me eating it, but she finally just gave up on it and let me have it. Luke tried to show off, but I think I still was the talk of the beach; hanging out in my baby pool under the cabana, getting served cold juice. It was quite the life. I told mom we need to get a set up like that at home.--Jude
