My first beach trip

I just got back from my first beach trip ever, and boy was it fun. There was all of this gritty stuff called sand, that was excellant to eat and play in. It stuck to everything and it was great for my gums. I don't think my mom was crazy about me eating it, but she finally just gave up on it and let me have it. Luke tried to show off, but I think I still was the talk of the beach; hanging out in my baby pool under the cabana, getting served cold juice. It was quite the life. I told mom we need to get a set up like that at home.--Jude

Myrtle Beach 08

Well here we are, our first beach trip of the year, and Jude's first beach trip ever. We had a great time. I wasn't too sure about the ocean, but every afternoon a tidepool came out of nowhere and it made a perfect kiddie pool. I didn't leave any sandcastles intact long enough for mom to take a picture of them, but I did enjoy building and destroying them. We also took a beach break and went to this cool place called Alligator Adventures where I saw this huge crocodile, turtles, snakes, otters, and of course alligators. My cousins, Morgan and Karsyn were at the beach too and I got to play with them everyday. Maw Maw and Paw Paw were there too, and I think I may have tired Paw Paw out. I caught him trying to take a nap every now and then. We had so much fun, that I can't wait to go going back to the beach in another week with my Nana and Granddaddy; so I hope they rest up.--Luke

Car wash

I have been working on this car wash thing for a couple of weeks, but I have finally got it. These squares can be quite tricky to get into place. When you do get them into the proper slot, this rather exciting music plays and all of these differnet sounds are made. I love it. I told mom she has to pack it to take it to the beach with us next week. I hope she doesn't forget.--Jude

baking cakes

This morning mom and I baked a pirate hat cake. It is chocolate with chocolate icing. I bet you never would have guessed that part. Icing the cake was way fun. Much more exciting than the actual cake baking. But I bet the eating of the cake is going to be even better.--Luke

Lazy summer days are here

Well we have finally convinced mom that the pool water had warmed up enough for us to take a dip. Jude loved the floaty boat and I am going crazy splashing and jumping into the water. I saw some big kid do this thing called a cannon ball, and I am going to learn how to do that too. It looked way cool.--Luke
I know that Luke spoke for me somewhat, but I wanted to let everyone know that floating around in this boat with a cold juice, is the way life should be. I'm digging summer already --Jude
