Play gym

 

 

 

I know it has been a while since we have last blogged, but since mama has gone back to work things have been crazy. I have decided that I should be a good big brother and help mama out as much as I can; so I showed Jude how to kick in the play gym. I think he really likes it. He always seems to take a nap after he plays, so that is good new for all. For being such a good helper mama took me to Lake Pine, where we fed the ducks with my friend Cannon and we ran around and played. We had a good time. I will upload those pics as well. Intervention? I'm not sure about this large word, but thats what mom says we need for my pass. addiction. I don't know what she means. I don't think I have a problem; but mom says I am only going to be able to have them at nap time and bed time. So before she takes them away I am getting in my last fix. Wish me luck.--Luke

While my big brother Luke is giving up his passes, I am learning how to smile and sit in the bumbo. I really think Luke is quite funny, although some things I find quite funny, mom and dad don't seem to agree all of the time. Luke told me that I can join in his comiedian act soon enough. I can't wait. For now I will just keep practicing te smile.--Jude

Bevis and Butthead

 

 

 

Well, what do you guys think of this makeup. Mom said that she knew which one of us was going to Bevis, and which one was going to be butthead. I don't know who these people are, but she said the desitin cream all over my face, gave it away. I told her I didn't know how the desitin got all over me, it just did. I must admit though the taste was a little strange. I think I will rethink playing with that stuff again.--Luke

Okay-- Luke has hogged this blog thing long enough. I think I deserve a chance to be on here by myself. He isn't much for sharing, so it is a good thing he is napping right now, so I can get one up on him.
Things around here have been going pretty good for me. I must say there is way more room out here, and it isn't nearly as hot. I am adjusting to life here, and I am becoming more comfortable. Sleeping long stretches is still not my thing, but I am trying to get better about it. I am also really enjoying this contraption they call a swing, and I just got this new thing called a bumpo that is pretty cool. Once again though, Luke thought it was for him, but I have some news for him- it isn't. I will send some photos later of the bumpo.
As for now, I am starting to get a little tired, so talk to you guys later. --- Jude

Sweet Dreams

 

 

Believe it or not, there are actually moments of silence around the house. These boys look like little angels when they are sleeping. So sweet, that I just had to get a picture. This way when they are trying my patience, I can remind myself that they can look so angelic.--Blaine

Playtime

 

 

 

Jude had this cool seat that bounces up and down, and it has fish that move around. I like to help him out in the mornings with getting him up and about, so I "gently" bounce him. Every now and then mom instructs me to not be so heavy handed, but Jude seems to like it; well, except for that time he spewed all over. Maybe I was going a little too fast that one time. Anyhow, I am trying to bond with him as mom would say, but so far, he doesn't do much.--Luke

I don't know what this guy is thinking. I don't think he has figured out that I am a slow starter in the mornings. All of this bouncing can be a bit much.--Jude

Good hygeine

 

 

Okay, brushing your teeth is really important according to my Nana. Now that I have all of my teeth except for two, mom says I need to brush daily. She also mentioned that I would be going to the dentist soon, so I had to take good care of my teeth. I don't know about all of this, but this toothpaste stuff does taste good--Luke

While Luke is busy brushing his teeth, mom has me taking these things called baths in a little tub. I'm not to sure about them, but the tub sure beats those cold sponge baths.--Jude

Check out this cool new seat I have found. It comes in really handy when I want to lay back and watch my cartoon shows. Although I do have to share it with Jude. This sharing thing can really get old, but I am trying to make an effort. --Luke

Well everyone, I had my two week check up this week and here are the stats: 22 inches,& 9.2 lbs. The doctor says I am as healthy as I can be and I am gaining on my big brother daily. He better watch out, I just might pass him someday.

Ready for diaper duty

 

 

Ok, I have found some gear, so I can help mom with diaper duty. It is seemingly a little on the messy side, so I wanted to be prepared. Jude has quite a knack for sleeping, eating, and pooping. I can't quite keep up. Everything is going swell, I am starting to get used to having another little person around, but I still am not sure about him being here permanently.--Luke

Well, since Luke does most of the talking for me, I don't have too much to say. So far things are going good. I have this cool thing called a swing that rocks me back and forth, which I really like. It helps my napping alot. Speaking of which, I think I am due for another.--Jude

Here we are a few days after we returned home. Jude is already growing and changing everyday and I am excited about my new train set. The track is really cool, and I love my the trains. At least this is something that I can play with indoors while we are still in this crazy heat wave.--Luke

Well it is official I have a little brother. I don't know how I feel about him yet, but mom and dad keep telling me that we are going to be great friends. I'll get back to you all on that one. Right now everything is going ok, except that I have a terrible cold. Maybe once I get to feeling better, I will have a differnet take on all that is going on. Well, mom says my time as a single blogger is drawing close to an end. Whatever that means. She claims that I am going to have to share my space with my new brother Jude, who will be here on Monday. I helped mom get all checked in on Friday, and now she is wearing these lovely red and purple arm bands that tell who she is. I thought that was a bit odd, but mom told me it is just protocol (whatever that is). Well I am off to the pool, since it is actually cool enough to be outside today. Talk to everyone later--Luke

These hot days are really getting old. Mom says the best thing is to lounge around. So I am giving it a whirl. It's not too bad. I like running around at the park better, but every now and then this is nice. It gives mom a break as well, since she says we need to save our energy for Jude's arrival. I hope this baby is going to be as fun as everyone is making him out to be. -- Luke
