First Hair Cut

Ok today mom and I went to this place called snip-its, where I had my first hair cut. I didn't really know what to think about the whole situation, but mom assured me that it would be fine and that my curls would still be there when we left. I didn't want those going anywhere, as they tend to attract the ladies. Over all it was fine, mom took several pictures and they gave her a tuft of my hair. I'm not sure why she wanted to keep that. I also got a treat when we left, so I may consider going back.--Luke

Procrastinating Nap Time

Ok, mom heard me up to something in my room, as I was putting off taking my nap, but boy waws she in for a treat. When she came to check in on me, I had finally given up the battle, but not without a fight. I managed to put all of my stuffed animals in the bed with me, along with a few books, and other toys. I think we look quite cozy.--Luke

Beach trip

Well I know it has been a while since I have last blogged but we have beed incredibly busy at our house. Vacationing, swimming lessons, partys, and getting ready for the arrival of Jude has had us all running wild. Mom promises that all of this running around will slow down really soon. These photos are of our last beach trip when we went with Nana and Granddaddy. We were at OIB, and we had a great time. I think I was successful in keeping everyone on their toes. I am just looking out for their health. Well I will be more prompt in keeping everyone updated, especially as the arrival of Jude nears. --Luke

Playspace

Hey-- Here are some action shots of me in playspace. Mom and I went this morning and met Garrison and his mom there. There was so much to do, we didn't know where to start. We played with trains, drove in cars, splashed in water, painted, colored, grochery shopped, and much more. It was such an action packed morning that I became tired rather quickly. So we met dad for an early lunch were I told him all about the morning, and that he would have to go with us next time.--Luke

new nursery!

Well the new nursery is complete. Dad painted all of these stripes on the wall. I think he did a smashing job. Mom still says there are a few more things to be done, but I don't know what. I told her I could help.--Luke

Ripley's Aquarium

This past week I have been at the beach with Mom, Dad, Maw Maw, Paw Paw, Uncle Stephen, Aunt Tina, Morgan, & Karsyn. We had alot of fun running around on the beach and playing in the pool. About midweek though, I needed a beach break, so mom, dad, and I went to the Aquarium at Broadway on the beach. I saw all kinds of cool fish, including sharks. I liked most all of the fish except for the moray eel; I found them to be a bit creepy. --Luke

18 months

Well, I have hit another milestone age; at least that what mom says. I am 18 months. I had my check-up this morning so here are my stats: ht: 32.5 inches (50-75%) , wt.: 24.8lbs (25-50%), & head 49cm (70-90%). I am even big enough to sleep in a big boy bed. I still like to have my fish blanket with me though.

Museum of Life and Science

Last Tuesday, Mom and I went to the Museum of Life and Science with some of my new friends, Garrison and Neil. We had a great time. We checked out the dinos, played with huge trucks, saw the butterflies in the butterfly house, and we ended the day with a train ride. I think that playing with the huge trucks was the most fun, but the train ride was neato too. --Luke
